Little girl and her father were crossing a bridge.
The father was kind of scared so he asked his little daughter, "Sweetheart, please hold my hand so that you don 't fall into the river."
The little girl said, "No, Dad. You hold my hand."
"What's the difference?" Asked the puzzled father.
"There's a big difference," replied the little girl.
"If I hold your hand and something happens to me, chances are that I may let your hand go.
But if you hold my hand, I know for sure that no matter what happens, you will never let my hand go."
in any relationship, the essence of trust is not in its bind but in its bond.
so hold the hand of the person who loves you rather than expecting them to hold yours ..
i come across to this email and i find it really really true ..
many times being selfish is human's nature or maybe living in this society, it turns us into selfish being that's why we always expect people to be there when u need help rather than offering ur help to others .
i often question myself if i really know how to love .
LOVE, can be love for friends, family, animals or etc ..
and why are there so many broken relationships in the circle of friends ?
looking back, indeed many expect their love ones to hold their hands or to hold this love in them than initiating to hold it on their own and then when losing it you'll start to regret and trying to make it back for the lost .
i really treasure and cherish my friends and family alot, how about u ?
